This study examines the educational effectiveness of Korean conjunctions through self-checking of back translation texts for intermediate and advanced Chinese learners. The study first discussed the significance of back translation as a method of Korean conjunction education. Based on previous studies, the concept of back translation was redefined, and research related to back translation and Korean language education was examined. Through the above discussions, a class was conducted after selecting traditional fairy tale works and Korean conjunctions for this study. Texts written by the learners who participated in the class were analyzed under a framework designed for learners’ self-checking. Finally, the expected effects of Korean conjunction education through self-checking of back translation texts and the implications of the lesson were discussed. This study verified that self-checking of back translated texts positively affected the education of Korean conjunctions through actual classes.
