This study analyzed the needs of the Korean language teacher training courses for the purpose of developing a curriculum that can have professional competence in line with the rapidly changing educational field. For the needs analysis, the t-test and the Borich and The Locus for Focus model were used, and the order of educational necessity was confirmed by adding the necessity item. As a result of the analysis, the difference between current students and graduates was confirmed in importance, demand, and necessity. In addition, it was confirmed that the survey respondents within the same group recognized separately what they thought was important and what they thought was necessary for actual education. Through this study, it will be possible to confirm the implications for the development and revision of Korean language teacher training courses.
