Four different government agencies currently dispatch Korean teachers every year to meet the growing overseas demand. The aim of this paper is to analyze the current status of the dispatch project and propose policy suggestions. In particular, we analyzed the Vietnam region where Korean language education had grown up remarkably. Each agency has actively supported the request of the beneficiary institution, leading to the adoption of Korean as a second foreign language even at regular schools. It is true that the support of the Korean government so far has contributed to such achievements, but rather than simply increasing the number of teachers dispatched, changes are needed so that teachers can be dispatched more precisely to the request of the beneficiary institution and plan long-term career. In addition, now is the time to request reciprocal support from the Vietnamese government. Active cooperation and sharing information in carrying out the dispatch project among the agencies will definitely increase policy effectiveness.
