The Multiple Parallel Mediating Effect of Emotional Intelligence on the relationship between Adult Attachment and Burnout in Childcare teachers

본 연구는 보육교사의 성인애착과 직무소진의 관계에서 정서지능의 다섯 가지 하위요인인 정서인식, 감정이입, 사고촉진, 정서활용, 정서조절의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울과 경기 소재 어린이집 만 0~5세 반에 재직 중인 보육교사 214명이었으며, 자기 보고식 설문을 통하여 자료가 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0을 사용하여 기술통계, 상관분석을 하였으며, PROCESS Macro version 4.1(Model 4)를 사용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 성인애착과 직무소진의 관계에서 정서지능의 다섯가지 하위요인 중 정서인식, 사고촉진, 정서조절만이 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 연구 결과는 보육교사가 정서지능과 같은 심리적 자원을 개발하는 것의 중요성을 시사하였고, 보육교사의 직무소진을 감소시키기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the multiple parallel mediating effect of emotional intelligence(emotional recognition, empathy, thinking promotion, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation) on the relationship between adult attachment and burnout in childcare teachers. The subjects of this study were 214 childcare teachers working in a daycare center in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, aged 0-5, and data were collected through a self-report questionnaire. In the relationship between adult attachment and burnout, among the five sub-factors of emotional intelligence, only emotional recognition, thinking promotion, and emotional regulation had partial mediating effects. The results of this study suggest developing psychological resources such as emotional intelligence and are expected to be used as basic data to reduce job burnout of childcare teachers.
