대학생의 내현적자기애가 대인관계에 미치는 영향

The Mediating Effects of Rejection Sensitivity and Unconditional Self-Acceptance on the Relationship between Covert Narcissism and Interpersonal Competence

본 연구는 대학생의 내현적자기애와 대인관계유능성과의 관계를 살펴보고, 거부민감성과 무조건적자기수용의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 438명을 대상으로내현적자기애 척도, 거부민감성 척도, 대인관계유능성 척도, 무조건적자기수용 척도로 구성된 자기보고식 설문을 실시하였다. 각 변인의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석과 매개효과 분석을 실시하였고, 그결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석 결과 내현적자기애는 대인관계유능성, 무조건적자기수용과 부적 상관이 있었고, 거부민감성과는 정적상관이 있었다. 대인관계유능성은 무조건적자기수용과 정적 상관이있었고, 거부민감성과는 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 매개효과를 확인한 결과, 거부민감성과 무조건적자기수용이 내현적자기애와 대인관계유능성 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 내현적자기애의 대인관계유능성에 대한 직접효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 이는 내현적자기애로 인해 대인관계 문제가있는 대학생들에게는 거부민감성을 낮추고 무조건적자기수용을 높이는 상담적 개입이 효과적임을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 한계 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of rejection sensitivity and unconditional self-acceptance between covert narcissism and interpersonal competence in college students. For the study, an self-report survey consisting of Covert Narcissism Scale, Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire, Unconditional Self-Acceptance Scale and Interpersonal Competence in Peer Relationship was conducted on 483 university students. The results were as follows: First, covert narcissism has a negative correlation with interpersonal competence, and unconditional self-acceptance and has a positive correlation with rejection sensitivity. Second, it was found that rejection sensitivity and unconditional self-acceptance mediated the relationship between covert narcissism and interpersonal competence. The limitation of the study was also discussed along with suggestions for the future research.
