중국인 한국어 학습자의 L2 자아와 외국어 즐거움 상관관계 연구

A Study on the Correlation between L2-Self and Foreign Language Enjoyment of Chinese Korean Learners

목적: 본 연구는 중국인 한국어 학습자가 학습 과정에서의 느끼는 L2 자아 체계와 즐거움을 알아보고 ‘L2 자아, 학습 경험, 즐거움’의 상관관계를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법: 중국인 학습자 93명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 학습자 배경, L2 자아 체계, 외국어 즐거움에 대한 문항 39개를 구성하였고, SPSS 26.0를 사용하여 결과를 분석하였다. 결과: 1) 이상적 L2 자아와 학습 경험, 즐거움은 높았고, 필연적 자아는 비교적 낮았다. 2) 이상적 L2 자아, 학습 경험과 외국어 즐거움 사이에 큰 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있었지만 필연적 L2 자아는 유의미한 상관관계가 없다는 것을 확인하였다. 3) 이상적 L2 자아는 외국어 즐거움에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 학습 경험을 통해 간접적인 영향도 미친다. 결론: 학습자의 긍정적인 학습 정서를 한국어교육 분야에 도입하여 L2 자아 체계와의 상관관계를 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out the L2 self system and foreign language enjoyment that Chinese Korean learners feel in the learning process, and to analyze the correlation between L2 self, learning experience, and foreign language enjoyment. Methods: A survey was conducted on 93 Chinese learners. The questionnaire consisted of 39 questions on learner background, L2 self-system and foreign language enjoyment and the SPSS 26.0 was used for data analysis. Results: The findings of data analysis showed that 1)The ideal L2 self and learning experience were relatively high, the ought-to L2 self was relatively low, and the enjoyment was high, among which the enjoyment of teacher support and the enjoyment of peer support appeared to be higher. 2)Although it showed a significant static correlations between the ideal L2 self, learning experience, and foreign language enjoyment, the ought-to L2 self showed no significant correlation in these three dimensions. 3)The results of analyzing the causal relationship between the ideal L2 self, learning experience, and foreign language enjoyment showed that the ideal L2-self had both direct influence on foreign language enjoyment and indirect influence through learning experience. Conclusion: It would be meaningful that this study introduced positive learning emotion into the Korean education field and revealed its correlation with the L2 Self System.
