메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 교양교육의 방향

This study explores the concept and advantages of the metaverse and suggests directions for liberal arts education using the metaverse platform. This paper examines the reasons for the emergence of the metaverse and the most used metaverse platforms around the world using the unique advantages of the metaverse, and examines the various ways in which the metaverse platform can be used in liberal arts education, including the four types of metaverses and their educational applications, as well as some examples of using Gathertown, one of the most used metaverse platforms. However, this paper also examines some considerations for utilizing the metaverse platform in liberal arts education. At a time when learners themselves can create various contents creatively on the Metaverse platform and a new world of jobs can be created, it is expected that the results of this study can provide learners with a learning environment where Metaverse and liberal arts education can be well connected.
