The purpose of this paper is to proposes new contents for Korean culture education as overseas Korean studies which is based on students’ needs in the eduction field. ‘Culture’ is recently recognised as an important object of research. This study carried out a survey targeting 30 undergraduate students in order to select the contents of Korean culture curriculum. The paper proposes to select three contents categories; first, for Korean historical culture, second, for living life of Korean people, third, for emotion of Korean people. This study is expected to contribute contents development of Korean culture education as overseas Korean studies.
