중급 한국어 학습자의 구어 담화에 나타난 조사 오류 연구

An Analysis of errors in the discourse of Korean Language Learners focusing on the usage of particles

The purpose of this study is to analyse discourse errors produced by Korean language learners at intermediate levels focusing on their usage of Korean particles. Since there are few studies conducted on the spoken errors found in the Korean language learners’ discourse, compared with written texts, the current study is one of the first studies of its kind. Three types of discourse including debates, interviews, and speeches of 38 Korean language learners from 13 countries were recorded, transcribed, and analysed. The study has identified six types of particle errors including errors of substitution, ommission, addition, form, paraphrase, and pronunciation. Among the six types of errors, ommission error has the highest frequency of occurrence. This result is different from those found in previous studies that focused on written texts. The particles with a high rate of error occurrence include ‘이/가, 을/를, 에서, 에, 은/는’. (Yonsei University)
