아동 대상 한글학교 한국어 교사의 교수 방법과 교사 효능감

The Teaching Methods and Teaching Efficacy of Korean Language Teachers for Children of “Hangeul Hakgyo”

This study aims to investigate and analyse the status of teaching for teachers who are working at “hangeul hakgyo”. At the same time, the study attempts to figure out the needs of those teachers on the teaching spot. According to the result, there are three main characteristics. First, teachers at “hangeul hakgyo” concentrated on cognitive and emotional perspectives. As a result, the teachers chose to do interest-oriented teaching method. In addition, teachers at “hangeul hakgyo” put more emphasis on Korean Alphabet learning. Moreover, teachers had a high sense of teacher efficacy and were satisfied with their teaching method but they thought that they are lack of professionalism so they are not sure of their individual teaching styles. In conclusion, it is vital to understand child learners’ language development and various Korean teaching styles and teaching resources should be placed according to the age-related characteristics.
