학교 내에서 위(Wee)클래스 상담실의 역할과 과제

The role and tasks of the Wee class counseling room within the school

목적 본 연구에서는 국내학술지에 게재된 논문과 학위논문을 중심으로 학교 상담실의 전문상담교사와 전문상담사의 직무를 분석함으로써 위(Wee)클래스 상담실의 역할과 더 나아가 과제가 무엇인지 제시하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 전문상담교사와 전문상담사의 역할과 직무에 관한 국내 학술지 논문과 학위논문을 대상으로 검색하여 직무에 관련된 20편의 논문과 13편의 전문상담교사의 어려움에 관련된 논문이 채택하여 분석하였다. 결과 분석결과 위클래스 상담실의 역할에 대하여 살펴보면 용어와 세분화 과정이 연구논문마다 약간의 차이가 있지만, 대체로 상담, 교육, 행정, 연계, 자기개발로 나누어지고 전반적으로 전문상담교사의 역할을 제시하고 있다. 결론 이러한 문헌을 검토한 결과 위클래스 상담실의 과제는 무엇보다 학교상담의 법제화이며, 학교상담실의 인식 개선과 전문상담교사의 전문성 향상을 위한 지원과 노력이 필요하다.

Objectives The aim of this study was to analyze the roles of specialized counselors and school counselors in the Wee Class counseling program by examining articles published in domestic academic journals and theses. Additionally, the study aimed to identify the tasks and challenges of the Wee Class counseling program. Methods To achieve this, domestic academic journal articles and theses related to the roles and duties of specialized counselors and school counselors were searched. A total of approximately 20 articles related to job responsibilities and 13 articles addressing the challenges faced by specialized counselors were selected for analysis. Results The analysis of the roles of the Wee Class counseling program revealed slight variations in terminology and categorization across different research papers. However, in general, the roles were classified into counseling, education, administration, coordination, and self-development, providing an overall picture of the roles of specialized counselors. Conclusions Based on the literature review, the tasks of the Wee Class counseling program primarily involve strengthened legislation around school counseling. Additionally, efforts and support are needed to enhance the recognition of school counseling rooms and improve the professional competence of specialized counselors.
