The purpose of this study is to identify recent major research trends in coffee. For this purpose, we utilized SCOPUS DB, a database that provides overseas articles, to identify the research trends of coffee in the last six years (2017~2022). According to the frequency analysis, there were 17,119 occurrences of coffee, 3,066 occurrences of study, 2,585 occurrences of consumption, 2,131 occurrences of results, 2,019 occurrences of using, 1,641 occurrences of analysis, 1,511 occurrences of high, and 1,419 occurrences of caffeine. The trend analysis shows that research on coffee and consumption is steadily increasing, while research on using is decreasing. According to the LDA topic modeling analysis, the important topics are 'coffee', 'results', 'analysis', 'consumption', 'using', and 'caffeine'. This shows that research on coffee is important in various fields such as consumption, use, and caffeine. In particular, as the consumption of coffee is increasing more than ever, it is expected that there will be continued interest in the impact factors and effects of coffee on individuals and society.
