A study on mobile website perceptual element preference according to multiple intelligence and brain propensity

This study aims to find out how multiple intelligences appear according to the propensity to use the left and right brains, and how the differences in response to perceptual elements such as color, shape, motion, and depth of mobile websites appear. For the brain propensity data required for this study, participants were recruited, a brain dominance test was conducted, and their multiple intelligences were confirmed. They were classified by brain inclination, preference was investigated for the perceptual elements of the mobile website, and it was confirmed whether the difference between the groups was significant. This study, as a subject connected to mobile website design, was intended to identify the propensity of users, who are the subject of content consumption, and to study the preferences of perceptual elements in a society that consumes content in the mobile era. As a result of comparing the differences between the groups by dividing them into left-brain and right-brain groups by brain tendency, there was no significant difference between groups in preference for color and depth, but a significant difference between groups for images. In this study, users can enjoy information with a more optimized design on mobile devices by identifying users' tendencies and suggesting preferred designs from a perceptual aspect in the field.
