The study aims to investigate the effect of residents’ perceived value of marine tourism resources on support for urban regeneration project focusing on meditating role of place attachment. Data were collected from the residents in Yeosu region from February, 24 to 26, 2023, and finally 252 questionnaires were analyzed. The three dimensions of perceived value of marine tourism resources were leisure & recreation, islands and historic culture. It was found that residents’ perceived value of marine tourism resources affected on their place attachment, and residents’ perceived value of marine tourism resources affected on their support for urban regeneration project. It was also confirmed that residents’ place attachment had a complete meditating role between residents’ perceived value of marine tourism resources and their support for urban regeneration project.
