The study is to examine the present situation for developing the multimedia-assisted materials used at the Korean language Institute. The development of the TAS passed through some steps, which is forming a teaching plan, producing multimedia materials, and founding a solution by a process of trial and error. This study drew up a detailed report of the progress and suggested that Korean could be taught using multimedia materials. The key is that we need to recognize the necessity of instructional models using multimedia and to set the teacher's role in Korean education using multimedia. This paper would be a guide for the development of multimedia materials in Korean education. And the system makes it possible for standardization of Korean teaching in Korean language Institute.
