지역규모별 다문화학생의 학교진로교육경험이 진로역량에 미치는 영향 탐색

Exploring the Effects of School Career Education Experiences on Career Competence of Multicultural Students by Regional Scale

이 연구는 거주 지역의 규모가 다른 다문화학생의 진로역량과 학교진로교육경험의 차이를 밝히고, 지역규모별로 학교진로교육경험을 비롯한 여러 요인이 진로역량에 미치는 영향력을 탐색한다. 이를 위해 「다문화청소년 패널조사 1기 데이터(MAPS 1)」에 포함된 1,085명의 자료를 활용하였으며, 일원분산분석과 사후검정, 다중회귀분석을 통해 통계적 유의성을 확인하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화학생의 진로역량은 읍면지역이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화학생의 학교진로교육경험은 읍면지역과 중소도시가 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역규모에 따라 다문화학생의 진로역량에 영향을 미치는 요인이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 학교진로교육경험은 대도시, 중소도시에서는 영향력이 존재하였으나, 읍면지역에서는 영향력이 나타나지 않았다. 이 연구는 다문화학생의 진로교육에서 지역규모 요인의 영향력을 실증적으로 확인하였으며, 향후 다문화학생의 진로교육 지원에서 지역규모 요인을 고려한 맞춤형 접근이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

This study identifies the difference between career competency and school career education experience of multicultural students of different sizes of residence, and explores the influence of various factors, including school career education experience, on career competency by regional scale. To this end, the data of 1,085 people included in the 「Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS)」was used, and statistical significance was confirmed through one-way ANOVA, post-hoc test, and multiple regression analysis. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was found that the career competency of multicultural students was significantly higher in the rural area. Second, the school career education experience of multicultural students was found to be significantly higher in large cities and small and medium-sized cities. Third, it was found that the factors influencing the career competency of multicultural students were different depending on the regional scale. School career education experiences had an influence in large cities and small and medium cities, but did not appear in rural areas. This study empirically confirmed the influence of regional scale factors on the career education of multicultural students, and suggests that a customized approach that considers regional scale factors is needed in future career education support for multicultural students.
