사회적 자본으로서 종교계의 통일운동

A Study on the Unification Movement and Unification Network of the Religious Community as Social Capital

본 연구는 종교계가 사회적 자본으로서 한국사회의 통일운동과 통일 네트워크를 어떻게 형성하고 발전시켜 왔는지를 살펴보는 것에 목적이 있다. 특히, 사회적 자본과 사회적 신뢰를 이론적 틀로 하여 종교계의 통일관 및 통일론을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과 종교계가 통일의 목적 및 역할을 성공적으로 달성하기 위해 필요한 요건은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 종교계의 통일교육 활성화이다. 둘째, 종교계와 정부와의 협력적 네트워크 구축이다. 셋째, 종교계의 통일연대와 국제적 네트워크 확산 및 활용도를 증대시켜야 한다는 점이다. 이를 통해 국내의 종교계가 종교단체와 도모하여 협력 및 지지를 보내줄 수 있는 통일 공공외교를 기대할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the religious community has formed and developed the unification movement and unification network in Korean society as social capital. To this end, looking at the preceding studies, it was found that research on the unification movement of domestic religious organizations was insufficient. This study examined the view of unification and the theory of unification in the religious community using social capital and social trust as a theoretical framework. As a result of this study, the tasks necessary for the religious community to fulfill its role are as follows. First, it is the revitalization of unification education in the religious community. Second, it is the establishment of a cooperative network with the religious community and the government. Third, it is necessary to increase the unification solidarity of the religious community and the spread and utilization of international networks. Through this, it is possible to expect unification public diplomacy in which the domestic religious community can promote cooperation and support with religious organizations.
