문화도시에서 지역축제의 역할

The role of local festivals in the cultural city : Focusing on the Silver Grass Festival in Seochang Field of Yeongsan River

문화도시에서 축제의 역할이 증대되고 있다. 자연환경을 활용한 축제는 삭막한 도심의 생태계 복원을 위한 중요한 요소이다. 지역축제 활성화와 체험 프로그램이 문화도시 활성화에서 중요한 역할을 한다는 점에서 본 연구는 의의가 있다. 따라서 지역축제의 역할을 파악하는 일이중요하며 주민들의 축제에 대한 인식 변화도 중요한 일이다. 도심과 떨어져 있는 자연을 활용한 축제는 도시 활성화에 직접작인 영향을 주는데 문제점을 드러냈다. 도심에서 이루어지는 축제가 지역의 문화와 지역 경제 활성화에 도움이 되는 것은 물론 지역 홍보와 문화 콘텐츠 개발에 충분한 역할을 한다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 서창 들녘 억새 축제는 자연 콘텐츠를 기반으로 하는 축제로 도심지역이 아니지만 도심에서 멀지도 않다. 본 연구는 서창 들녘 억새 축제가 지역문화, 지역 경제, 지역 홍보에 활용될 수 있도록 도심 축제의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The role of festivals in cultural cities is increasing. Festivals that utilize the natural environment are an important factor in restoring the ecosystem of desolate downtowns. This study is meaningful in that the vitalization of local festivals and experience programs play an important role in the vitalization of cultural cities. Therefore, it is important to understand the role of local festivals, and it is also important to change the perception of festivals among residents. Festivals that utilize nature far from the city center have revealed problems in directly influencing urban revitalization. It was found that festivals held in the city center not only help revitalize local culture and local economy, but also play a sufficient role in promoting local areas and developing cultural contents. The Seochang Field Silver Grass Festival is a festival based on natural content, and is not far from the city center, although it is not located in the downtown area. This study aims to suggest the direction of the city festival so that the Seochang field silver grass festival can be used for local culture, local economy, and regional publicity.
