The goal of this study is to explore the potential for undergraduate French Language and Litterature education to train professional translation skills in the field of biohealth. The study focused on observing and analyzing the translation of specialized terminology in technical translation. The analysis of the translations revealed that students employed various translation strategies, such as borrowing, equivalence, borrowing+ equivalence, reduction, and expansion, while searching for and enhancing their scientific knowledge. This research fills a gap in the relatively limited study of specialized terminology translation by focusing on the development and supplementation of cognitive accumulation. Observing the translations produced by students revealed the importance of evaluating the relevance and usefulness of information gathered during the research process and applying appropriate context when conducting professional translations.
