중간 강의평가 참여가 기말 강의평가에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Participation in Mid-term Course Evaluation on End of Term Course Evaluation: Effectiveness of Participation in Mid-term Course Evaluation

본 연구의 목적은 중간 강의평가에 참여하는 것이 기말 강의평가에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 통해 중간 강의평가의 참여를 독려하는 기초 자료를 마련하는 것이다. 자료는 2021년에 S대학에 재학 중인 학생이 중간 강의평가와 기말 강의평가에 응답한 것을 수집하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째로 중간강의평가에 참여하면 기말 강의평가에 긍정적으로 영향을 미친다는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째로 전공 교육과정 교과와 이론 강의방식과 실험·실습 강의방식에서도 중간 강의평가에 참여하면 기말 강의평가에 긍정적으로 영향을 미친다는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 교양 교육과정 교과에서는 중간 강의평가에 참여가 기말 강의평가에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 학생들에게 좋은 질의 강의를 제공하기 위해서는 중간 강의평가에 참여를 독려할 필요가 있다는 것을 제언한다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of participating in mid-term course evaluation on end of term course evaluation. Its purpose is to provide basic data to encourage participation in mid-course evaluation. Data were collected by students attending S University in 2021 for mid-term course evaluation and end of term course evaluation. The results of the study showed that first, participation in the mid-term course evaluation had a positive effect on the end of term course evaluation. Second, it was found that participating in the mid-term course evaluation had a positive effect on the end of term course evaluation in the major curriculum, theory classes, and experiment and practice classes method. Finally, in the liberal art curriculum, participation in the mid-term course evaluation did not have an effect on the end of the course evaluation. These results suggest that it is necessary to encourage participation in mid-term course evaluation in order to provide high-quality lectures to students.
