이순신 관련 문헌을 통해 본 「한산도가」의 등장과 변화

이순신의「한산도가」는 널리 알려져 있음에도 그에 대한 연구는 많지 않다. 현재 10여 편의 논문이 있는 실정이다. 기존 연구는 대부분 작성 시기 혹은 작성 장소, 이순신 작사 진위 여부에 대한 것이었다. 또한‘한글「한산도가」’와‘한문「한산도가」’의 문헌상 선후 관계에 대한 검토도 없었다. 기존에는‘한글「한산도가」’가 먼저 존재했고 이후‘한문「한산도가」’로 번역되었다고 보았다. 그에 따라‘한문「한산도가」’에 대해서 문헌 기록을 명확히 살핀 사례도 없었다. 이 글에서는 일부 연구에서 부분적으로 언급했던‘한문 「한산도가」’를 관련 문헌 전체(「행장」·「행록」·「유사」등)를 비교해‘한문「한산도가」’가 먼저 작성되고 이후 ‘한글「한산도가」’로 번역되었다고 보는‘선(先) 한문시(漢文詩), 후(後) 한글 시조(時調)의 한역(韓譯)설’의 가능성을 검토했다. 그 결과‘한문「한산도가」’는 1709년(1715년)『충무공가승』에 처음 기록된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 그 이전의 동일한 내용을 지닌『충무록』에 실리지 않았다는 것은 시사하는 것이 크다. 즉 후세에 의해‘한문「한산도가」’가 첨언된 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이 글에서는 문헌 기록을 바탕으로‘한문「한산도가」’가‘한글「한산도가」’가 보다 먼저 문헌에 기록되었다고 추정했다. 이는 기존의 1795년『이충무공전서』속 ‘한문「한산도가」’를 기준으로‘선 한글 시조 후 한역(漢譯) 주장’과는 배치되는 부분이다. 즉 1709년(1715년)‘한문 「한산도가」’가 먼저 등장했고, 그 이후‘한글「한산도가」로 한역(韓譯)’되었다고 보는 관점이다.

Although Yi Sun-sin's「Hansandoga」is widely known, there are not many studies on it. Currently, there are approximately 10 papers. Most previous studies have focused on the time and place of writing and the authenticity of the lyrics of Yi Sun-sin. In addition, there has been no review of the relationship between‘Korean「Hansandoga」’and‘Chinese 「Hansandoga」’in literature. It has been traditionally believed that‘Hangul 「Hansandoga」’existed first and was later translated into‘Chinese「Hansandoga」’. As a result, there has been no examination of the literature records for‘Chinese「Hansandoga」’. In this article,‘Chinese「Hansandoga」’, which has been partially mentioned in some studies, is compared to all related literature (「Yi Chungmugong Haengjan g」,「Yi Chungmugong Hangnok」,「Yi Chungmugong Yusa」, etc.) to review the possibility of‘the theory of Chinese translation of Chinese poems in the early period and Korean sijos later’, which posits that they were written first in Chinese and later translated into‘Korean「Hansandoga」’. As a result, it has been confirmed that ‘Chinese 「Hansandoga」’was first recorded in 1709 (1715) in 『Chungmugong Gaseung』. It is noteworthy that it was not published in『Chungmurok』, which has similar content. In other words, it can be seen that‘Chinese「Hansandog a」’was added by posterity. In this article, as a result of confirming the existence of literature records, it is suggested that‘Chinese「Hansandog a」’was recorded earlier than‘Hangul「Hansandoga」’. This is contrary to the‘Chinese「Hansandoga」’in the existing『Yi Chungmugong Jeonseo』 of 1795, which posits that it was pre-Korean sijo and later Chinese-translated poetry. In other words, it is proposed that‘Chinese「Hansandoga」’appeared in 1709 (1715) and was later translated into‘Hangeul「Hansandoga」’.
