A Study on Tourists1 Perception of the Effectiveness of Tourism Police System

Tourism police system is specific application of some developed countries /regions in tourism industry. Since the 20th century, tourism police have been set up in many countries /regions where tourism accounts for a large proportion of the national economy, such as Egypt, Thailand, Russia, Malaysia and other countries. The implementation of tourism police system has achieved good results. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of tourism police system from three aspects, tourists' perception level, perception effectiveness and satisfaction. The perception level is systematically elaborated from tourists1 understanding of tourist police system, perception sources and cooperation with other departments. The perception effectiveness is evaluated by analyzing whether it improves service quality of scenic spots, overall image of the city's tourism industry, and whether it regulates the order of the tourism market. Tourist satisfaction is evaluated through three dimensions, level, attitude and fairness of law enforcement. This paper chooses the tourism police detachment of Sanya Public Security Bureau as a case of study. By means of literature analysis, interviews and questionnaires, this paper studies tourists' satisfaction with the effectiveness of the tourism police in Sanya City. By using SPSS.22, the evaluation indexes are compared and tested, and the current situation of tourists' satisfaction with the effectiveness in Sanya City is analyzed. The perception level and perceived effectiveness are the optimum countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of Sanya tourism police system. According to the research conclusions, the strategies and suggestions to improve and optimize the effectiveness of tourism police system are put forward. This paper provides a feasible basis for the optimization and development of the tourism police system design through developing tourists pe ' rception and evaluation system, and this paper also has a certain reference value for the improvement of the effectiveness of the tourism police system.
