사회복지관에서의 사례관리 수퍼비전이 수퍼바이저의 역량강화에 주는 경험적 의미

The empirical meanings of case management supervision in social welfare center in strengthening supervisors’ competency

본 연구는 사회복지관의 사례관리 수퍼비전과정에서 수퍼바이저의 경험을이해하고 그 의미를 탐색해보고자 하였다. 연구참여자는 사회복지관 사례관리팀 수퍼바이저로서 연구참여에 동의한 10명의 사회복지사이다. 본연구의자료수집을 위해서는 개별심층인터뷰가 실시되었다. 자료분석은 Strauss와Corbin(2008)의 지속적 비교방법에 기반을 두고 이루어졌으며, 그 결과 하위범주(25)와 핵심범주(7)가 도출되었다. 핵심범주는, ‘자신에 대한 발견과 알아차림’, ‘수퍼비전을 통해 사례관리 다시 배우기’, ‘수퍼비전의 지속성을 지켜내기 힘듦’, ‘사례관리 수퍼바이저로서 역할 찾아가기’, ‘수퍼바이저에게도사례관리는 여전히 힘듦’, ‘수퍼바이지와 함께 하기’, 그리고 ‘변화와 성장을위해 머물러 있지 않기’로 나타났다. 연구결과, 사회복지관에서 사례관리 수퍼비전의 경험이 수퍼바이저의 역량강화에 주는 경험적 의미는 ‘사례관리자로서 자기통찰을 통한 성장의 욕구를 확인하는 과정’이었다. 이와 같은 연구결과들을 바탕으로, 사례관리 수퍼비전이 효과적 수행되기 위한 방안에 대해 논의와 제언을 하였다.

This study is designed to explore the experience of the supervisors in case management practice, working as case manager in a Community Welfare Center. The data was collected from 10 supervisors in case management team through in-depth interview. The data was analyzed by the procedures of qualitative method involving Strauss & Corbin, derived 7 top categories. They are as the following: Discovering and recognizing myself; Relearn case management through supervision; Being hard to maintain the continuity of supervision; Finding the roles as a Case Management Supervisor; Case management is still difficult, even for case management supervisors; working with supervisees; Not staying for change and growth. The empirical meaning of case management supervision on the capacity building of supervisors is understood as the process of identifying their desire for growth through self-insight as a case manager. Based on these analysis, the practical alternatives area are suggested.
