다문화아동의 언어능력증진을 위한 음률활동 실행연구

An Action Research on Music and Movement Activities for Enhancing Language Abilities of Multicultural Children

목적 본 연구의 목적은 다문화아동의 언어능력증진을 위한 음률활동 실행과정을 살펴보고, 다문화아동을 위한 음률활동의 운영방안과 언어능력증진을 위한 음률활동에 따른 다문화아동의 반응을 연구하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 연구자가 직접 연구를 실행하고 그 결과를 반복 검증하는 실행연구 방법을 사용하였다. 실행연구의 자료 수집에서는 연구자의 활동일지, 수업 녹화 자료, 교사들과의 심층면담, 그리고 실제 관찰 결과에 대한 문서 자료 등을 수집하였고, 자료 분석에서는 코딩과 연구자의 성찰과 분석적 메모를 통해 연구주제를 도출하였다. 결과 이를 위하여 2022년 9월부터 2023년 2월까지 진행되었으며 2022년 9월은 예비연구 및 문헌고찰을 통해 실행 연구를 통한 음률활동을 활용한 다문화 아동의 언어 능력 향상에 대한 가능성을 확인하였다. 2022년 9월은 준비단계로 관찰하는 유아의 학부모와 관찰자인 교사에게 연구 동의를 확인하였다. 음률활동 실행과 관찰과정에서 다문화아동의 언어능력증진의 운영방안과 반응이 도출되었다. 결론 첫째, 다문화아동을 위한 음률활동의 운영방안은 유아의 언어능력 증진을 위해 향상시키는데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 다문화아동의 언어능력증진을 위한 음률활동에 따른 다문화아동의 다양한 반응을 향상시키는데 효과가 있었다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the process of implementing music and movement activities for enhancing the language ability of multicultural children, and to investigate the operational strategies for the activities for multicultural children and their responses to language-enhancing the activities. Methods To achieve this, four multicultural children over the age of three from a daycare center located in Gyeonggi-do were selected as the target children, and a self-reflective action research cycle model was applied, progressing through the stages of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Results The study was conducted from September 2022 to February 2023, and in September 2022, the possibility of using music and movement activities through action research to enhance the language ability of multicultural children was confirmed through preliminary research and literature review. In September 2022, research consent was obtained from the parents of the observed children and the teachers who were observers during the preparation stage. The operational strategies and responses of multicultural children for enhancing their language ability were derived from the execution and observation process of music and movement activities. Conclusions First, the operational strategies for music and movement activities for multicultural children were effective in enhancing their language ability. Second, music and movement activities for enhancing the language ability of multicultural children had a positive effect on their various responses.
