대구지역의 판소리문화 연구

A Study on Pansori Culture in Daegu

본고는 대구지역의 판소리문화 전반에 대한 논의를 통해 이 지역의 판소리문화를 깊이 있게 이해하는 데 기여하고자 하였다. 논의한 바를 간추리면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조선후기의 대구지역의 판소리문화는 경상감영 교방과 대구부 교방을 중심으로 판소리문화가 전승되었다. 그리고 20세기에는 달성권번과 대동권번, 경북예술고등학교, 경북대학교, 동국대학교 경주캠퍼스 등을 중심으로 전승되었다. 한편 판소리와 창극은 대부분 극장에서 대중을 상대로 공연되었고, 해동원이나 대동식도원 등 요리점에서는 개인을 상대로 공연되었다. 둘째, 대구지역에는 19세기 후기에 송흥록, 고수관 등의 판소리 명창이 소리를 한 적이 있으며, 20세기에는 박기홍, 조학진, 박지홍, 강태홍, 박동진 명창 등이 달성권번에서 소리와 춤을 가르쳤다. 그리고 강소춘, 김추월, 김록주, 김초향, 박록주, 신금홍, 박귀희 등의 여류명창이 등장하여 판소리문화 발전에 공헌하였다. 셋째, 판소리와 창극은 대부분 만경관, 대구극장, 대구키네마구락부, 대구공회당 등에서 공연되었다.

This study discusses the pansori culture in Daegu to contribute to a deeper understanding of it. The results are as follows. First, the pansori culture of the late Yi Dynasty in Daegu was passed on mainly to Gyeongsanggamyeonggyobang and Daegubugyobang. In the 20th century, it was passed on to Dalseonggwonbeon, Daedonggwonbeon, Gyeongbuk High School of Arts, Kyungpook National University, and Dongguk University, Gyeongju Campus. Most of the pansori pieces and Korean classical operas were performed in theaters, but performances at restaurants, such as Haedongwon and Daedongsikdowon, were also arranged for individual persons. Second, pansori masters, such as Song Heungrok and Go Sugwan, performed pieces in the 19th century; Park Gihong, Jo Hakjin, Gang Taehong, Park Jihong, and Park Dongjin taught pansori songs and dances at Dalseonggwonbeon in the 20th century. Pansori mistresses, such as Gang Sochun, Kim Chuwol, Kim Rokju, Kim Chohyang, Park Rokju, Sin Geumhong, and Park Gwihui, were also recognized, and they contributed to the development of pansori culture. Third, most of the pansori pieces and Korean classical operas were performed in theaters, such as Mangyeonggwan, Daegugeukjang, Daegukinemagurakbu, and Daegugonghoedang.
