연속판소리 <치악산>은 총 34회로 제작되었는데, 현재까지 녹음 원본이 모두 양호한 상태로 보존되고 있다. 이 희귀한 자료의 존재는 수년 전에 학계에 보고되었으나, 현재까지 그 내용이 검토되지 않았으며, 작품의 제작 및 방송에 관한 사실도 구체적으로 밝혀지지 않았다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 먼저 다양한 자료들을 근거로 연속판소리 <치악산>의 제작 및 방송에 관한 사실들을 추정하고, 원작과 비교하면서 작품의 내용과 각색 방법을 검토했다.
This study aims to examine the contents and adaptation method of the yeonsok-pansori Chiaksan of Dong-A Broadcasting System (DBS). Yeonsokpansori Chiaksan is a creative pansori work based on the sinsoseol Chiaksan. It was adapted by broadcast playwright Ju Tae-ik (1918-1978) and composed and performed by the master singer Park Dong-jin (1916-2003). Ju Tae-ik and Park Dong-jin formed the creative pansori Jesus-jeon, which is considered one of the most significant pansori works of the 20th century. Thus, the fact that this collaborative effort led to another creative pansori work demands that we examine yeonsok-pansori Chiaksan. Yeonsok-pansori Chiaksan consists of 34 episodes, and the original recordings have been preserved in good condition. Although the existence of this rare material was reported in academia several years ago, it has not been reviewed until now, and no specific details have been revealed about its production and broadcasting. Therefore, this paper first estimated the facts about the production and broadcasting of yeonsok-pansori Chiaksan based on various materials, and then examined the contents and adaptation method of the yeonsok-pansori Chiaksan by comparing it with the original work.
