However, it is needed to emphasize the importance of recognizing the multidimensional values of gaming, including its potential to foster social connections and enhance interpersonal relationships.Furthermore, games can be considered a holistic artistic creation, intertwining visual graphics, music, and narrative. As such, they possess cultural significance as a synthesis of these elements, contributing to their sociocultural value. The article also identifies reasons behind the negative perceptions of gaming in South Korea, such as the cultural emphasis on education and social success, leading to the view of gaming as a distraction. To change this perception, the article calls for a reevaluation of gaming in South Korea, allowing the industry to reach its full potential and contribute to the country's cultural and artistic landscape.
