연변 지역 판소리의 전승 현황

Aspects of the Pansori Transmission in Yan bian(延邊) Region

This study is the result of the field work of pansori transmission in Yan bin(延邊) region. The results are as follows. 1) In Yan bin(延邊) region, there are three different styles of pansories. They are recitation pansori, Northwestern region folk song style pansori and traditional pansori. 2) The singers of recitation pansori are Ri Gyo-yeong, Cha Byeong-geol. Ri Gyo-yeong who is 80 years old, lives in Ando county. He can recite some parts of 5 pansori repertories. Cha Byeong-geol who is 80 years old, lives in Hei long jiang Province. He can recite the whole Sim Jeong-sun version Simcheong-ga. The singer of Northwestern region folk song style pansori is Ri So-seon. She lives in Tu men city. She learned the pansori during Korean Civil War from a member of refugee artists of North Korea. 3) Traditional pansori is taught in the Art College of Yan bin University. Art College of Yan bin University was originated from Art Academy of Yan bin. Art Academy of Yan bin was opened in 1957. The pansori professor of Art College of Yan bin University is Gang Sin-ja who is 64 years old. She learned pansori from Bak Jeong-ryeol(1920-1988). Bak Jeong-ryeol was designed of the Great Folk Singer in 1987. Bak Jeong-ryeol learned pansori in South Korea during Japanese imperialism. And she also learned pansori from Ji Man-su who was dispatched in 1955 from North Korea. 4) Now professor Gang Sin-ja alone undertakes all the pansori transmission in Yan bin(延邊) region. 5) People who are living in Yan bin(延邊) region say that they keep pansori to keep their nationality.
