Changes in Foreign Trade between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, Opportunity to increase Trade

This paper analyzes the impact of the bilateral trade between Korea and Mongolia, on promoting bilateral trade using the Economic cooperation. During the corona pandemic situation has had a positive impact on trade exchanges between the two countries. Through this, the study strategically discusses ways to promote trade in goods and services between Korea and Mongolia in the new era. According to the analysis Mongolia has high export competitiveness in agriculture, mining and textile products, and Korea has high export competitiveness in automobiles, machinery and food. In other words, the two countries differ in import and export composition, which means that there are opportunities to increase the size of bilateral trade. Also it can be seen that there is full potential for the development of trade in services between the two countries. It is also important to intensively conduct research on trade in services, create new types of electronic services and support the development of Mongolia's service industry. The EFA to be established between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea is of decisive importance in solving the obstacles facing trade between the two countries and increasing trade in goods and services.
