This study was conducted to evaluate the leaching resistance and flame retardant per- formance of flame retardants by double impregnation. Weathering was performed to evaluate the resistance to leach by moisture, and the amount of flame retardant main component (Phosphorus) leached by moisture was measured using a spectrophotometer. The results are as follows: The amount of flame retardant main component (Phosphorus) leached by water was smaller in the double-impregnated wood compared to the wood treated with flame retardant alone. Mass loss rate during combustion was lower for the double-impregnated wood than for the flame retardant-only wood. Comparing the carbonization depth after the combustion test, the double-impregnated wood was smaller than the flame retardant-only wood.
