A Study on the Development of Whisky Cabinet Design

From daily habits accustomed to human contact, it quickly changed to a non-face-to- face environment due to the mandatory social distancing in the era of the last corona virus (covid-19) pandemic. As more time is spent at home, the house has changed from a residential space to a variety of living spaces where people can enjoy leisure. Among them, the home-drinking trend culture of drinking alone at home has expanded, and in particular, sales of high-end alcoholic beverages have soared naturally due to interest in rare value in high-end pre- mium Western liquor. Even in the corona endemic situation, it seems that our lifestyle has changed and settled as a new consumption culture rather than returning to the lifestyle of peo- ple before the corona pandemic. Unlike general liquor beer, soju, wine, etc., liquor, which is commonly stored at room temperature rather than refrigerated storage, is kept as an interior decoration through display of premium liquor drinking and display of liquor bottles. However, the shape and design of the whiskey cabinets currently being sold to consumers is far from complete. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to look at various aspects necessary for mod- ern people's cultural life, analyze domestic cabinets, and present process design directions for production.
