보육교사의 인권 감수성과 권리존중 보육실행과의 관계

Relationship Between Human Rights Sensitivity and Rights-Respecting Childcare Practices of Childcare Teachers'

본 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 인권 감수성과 권리존중 보육실행과의 관계를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 2023년 C도 보육교사 보수교육에 참여한 교사 322명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과를 제시하면 첫째, 보육교사의 인권 감수성 수준은 높지 않았고 하위 요인별로는 결과지각이 가장 높았다. 에피소드 별 인권 관련 항목에서 신체의 자유와 안전에 대한 권리가 가장 높았고 장애인의 교육받을 권리는 가장 낮았다. 둘째, 보육교사의 영유아 권리존중 보육의 전체 실행수준은 비교적 높았다. 하위영역별로는 하루일과 존중에서는 화장실 다녀오기(기본욕구)가 가장 높았고 특별활동은 가장 낮았다. 아동 최선의 이익 중에서는 의사존중이 가장 높았고 정보제공은 가장 낮았다. 셋째, 보육교사의 인권 감수성이 높을수록 권리존중 보육 실행수준이 높았다. 하위영역별로는 화장실 다녀오기가 가장 높은 상관을 보였다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 보육현장에서 권리존중 보육 실행수준이 높고 지속적으로 실행되기 위해서는 보육교사의 인권 감수성 향상을 위한 방안 마련과 실천이 필요하다. 본 연구는 권리존중 보육실행을 위해서 인권 감수성 향상을 위한 다양한 지원 방안 마련에 대한 시사점을 제공하는 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between childcare teachers' human rights sensitivity and rights-respecting childcare practices. To this end, data were collected and analyzed for 322 teachers who participated in education for childcare teachers in Chungbuk in 2023. First, the level of human rights sensitivity of childcare teachers was not high, and the perception of results was the highest by sub-factors. In terms of human rights-related items by episode, the right to freedom and safety of the body was the highest, and the right to education of the disabled was the lowest. Second, the overall level of childcare teachers' respect for infant rights was relatively high. By sub-area, toilet visits (basic needs) were the highest in daily work and respect, and special activities were the lowest. Among the best interests of children, respect for intention was the highest and information provision was the lowest. Third, the higher the human rights sensitivity of childcare teachers, the higher the level of child care that respects rights. By sub-area, going to the bathroom (basic desire) showed the highest correlation. Through these research results, it is necessary to prepare and practice measures to improve the human rights sensitivity of childcare teachers in order to have a high level of respect for rights and continuously implement them in the childcare field. This study is meaningful in providing implications for preparing various support measures to improve human rights sensitivity in order to implement childcare with respect for rights.
