Analysis of MZ Generation Women’s Face Image and Hair Style

They express their own image in diverse ways such as facial contour improvement. For Generation MZ, therefore, hairstyling has been one of self-expression methods and an important means to express their personality and change their image. For this, an online questionnaire survey was performed against female MZers aged 20-40s living in Seoul. A total of 592 copies were used for final analysis, and the results found the followings: First, to examine subjects’ general characteristics, physical traits, hair characteristics, interest in hairstyles, hairstyling patterns and changes in hairstyles, frequency analysis was performed. Second, to analyze differences in physical traits, hair characteristics, interest in hairstyles, hairstyling patterns and changes in hairstyles by general characteristics, a chi-squared test was conducted. The above results confirm that physical traits such as facial shape, facial feature and skin color are closely related with hairstyles. It is also found that hairstyles change according to such physical traits.
