In a rapidly changing modern society where competition has become fiercer, it has been one of the most important tasks in life to find and dutifully fulfill a perfect job. Due to the emergence of diverse occupations and future uncertainty resulting from long-lasting economic slowdown, it has been more difficult to get employed and become satisfied at work. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate the mediating effects of self-efficacy in relationships between self-leadership and intrinsic job satisfaction against beauty workers and seek a plan to enhance such intrinsic job satisfaction through effective management strategies along with rational and positive self-leadership for competent cosmetologists in rapidly changing environments. For this, a questionnaire survey was performed with a questionnaire comprised of 33 questions (5: general characteristics, 9: self-leadership, 10: intrinsic job satisfaction, 9: self-efficacy). A total of 250 copies were used for final analysis, and the collecte data were analyzed, using SPSS 22.0. The study results found the followings: In self-efficacy, ‘constructive-thinking strategy’ and ‘behavior-focused strategy’ revealed a statistically significant influence. In intrinsic job satisfaction as well, ‘constructive-thinking strategy’ and ‘behavior-focused strategy’ showed a statistically significant influence. Consequently, the above results confirmed the mediating effects of self-efficacy in relationships between self-leadership and intrinsic job satisfaction among beauty workers and discovered that their job satisfaction and self-efficacy could be maximized with decent mindset and behavior. It is anticipate that the study results would be available as basic data for future studies, helping beauty workers grow.
