텍스트마이닝과 네트워크 분석을 활용한 웹툰 연구 동향 분석

An Analytical Study on the Trend of Webtoon Research Using Text Mining and Network Analysis

본 연구는 웹툰의 연구 동향을 분석하는 것으로, RISS와 NTIS에서 논문과 연구 과제를 수집하여 텍스트마이닝과 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 논문에서는 스토리텔링, 문화콘텐츠, OSMU, 트랜스미디어 등이 높은 빈도로 나타났고 IP 개발 등 총 6개의 토픽으로 분류하였다. 연구 주제의 편중성이있지만 부가가치 창출 목적의 주류 연구 내에서도 범위와 방법론이 세분화되고 있었다. 과제에서는 인공지능, 콘텐츠, 플랫폼, 데이터 등이 높은 빈도로 나타났고 영상 컴퓨팅 등 총 4개의 토픽으로 분류하였다. 생성형 인공지능을 활용한 응용 기술개발이 주류로 나타난 가운데, 저작권 보호 등 정책적 보완이 필요하다고 보았다.

This study conducted text mining and network analysis for the purpose of analyzing webtoon research trends. Analysis data were collected from articles and research assignments in RISS and NTIS. As a result of the analysis, keywords such as storytelling, cultural contents, OSMU, and transmedia appeared with high frequency in articles. And it was classified into a total of 6 topics, including IP development. This was interpreted as subdividing the scope and methodology within the mainstream research for the purpose of creating added value, but there is a bias in the research topic. In the task, keywords such as artificial intelligence, content, platform, and data appeared with high frequency. And it was classified into a total of 4 topics including image computing. Application technology development using generative artificial intelligence occupied the main project, and policy supplementation, such as copyright protection, should be established together.
