2022 개정 교육과정 고등학교 융합 선택 과목의 ‘핵심 아이디어’에 대한 의미연결망 분석

Semantic Network Analysis for ‘Core Ideas’ of Convergence Elective Courses in the 2022 Revised Curriculum

목적 본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정의 고등학교 융합 선택 과목의 ‘핵심 아이디어’ 간 의미연결망을 분석하여 융합 선택 과목의성격을 규명하고 융합 선택 과목에 대한 학습을 통해 형성되는 빅 아이디어를 탐색한다. 방법 이를 위해 2022 개정 교육과정의 고등학교 보통 교과 27개 융합 선택 과목의 120개 ‘핵심 아이디어’를 대상으로, 키워드 추출및 정제, 키워드 중심성 분석을 수행하고, 연결 패턴이 유사한 키워드들을 하나의 군집으로 묶어주는 구조적 등위성 분석(CONvergence of iterated CORrelations)을 실시하였다. 결과 ‘핵심 아이디어’에서 추출한 키워드 중 빈도 상위 114개 키워드를 대상으로 의미연결망을 분석한 결과, ‘사회 문제 해결’, ‘융합적 사고 능력과 협력의 태도’, ‘경험을 통한 성장’, ‘디지털 기술과 매체’, ‘생태환경의 위기’, ‘다양성의 존중과 자립’, ‘문화 이해’, ‘개인의 성장과 안정적인 생활’, ‘삶의 의미 발견’, ‘인간 삶과 예술 체육 활동’, ‘가치 창조와 지식재산권’, ‘공학적 설계’라고 명명할수 있는 12개의 의미 군집이 추출되었다. 결론 융합 선택 과목의 ‘핵심 아이디어’는 특정 교과의 고유한 지식이나 개념보다 실제적 문제 해결에 필요한 역량이나 실생활 맥락을 반영한 주제를 중심으로 의미연결망을 형성하고 있는 만큼, 융합 선택 과목은 과목 설정의 취지를 구현하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 또한 각 군집에 포함된 키워드들이 형성하고 있는 의미는 융합 선택 과목을 넘나들 수 있는 빅 아이디어로서, 융합 선택 과목 간 연계및 통합 수업 설계의 단서를 제공한다.

Objectives This study analyzes the semantic network of the ‘core ideas’ of the convergence elective course in the 2022 revised curriculum to identify the nature of convergence elective course and to extract the big ideas that are formed through learning about convergence elective course. Methods For this purpose, this study conducted morphological analysis on 120 ‘core ideas’ of 27 convergence elective course in the 2022 revised curriculum, and conducted structural equivalence analysis(CONvergence of iterated CORrelations) that group keywords with similar connection patterns into one cluster. Results As a result of analyzing the semantic network among the top 114 keywords extracted from the ‘core ideas’, 12 semantic clusters were extracted, which can be named as ‘social problem solving’, ‘convergent thinking ability and cooperative attitude’, ‘growth through experience’, ‘digital technology and media’, ‘ecological and environmental crisis’, ‘respect for diversity and self-reliance’, ‘understanding culture’, ‘personal growth and stable life’, ‘discovering the meaning of life’, ‘human life and arts and sports activities’, ‘value creation and intellectual property rights’, and ‘engineering design’. Conclusions Since the meaning networks of the ‘core idea’ of the convergence elective course were organized around competencies needed to solve real-world problems or themes that reflected real-world contexts, the convergence elective courses fulfill its original purpose. The meaning formed by the keywords in each cluster showed the possibility of a big idea.
