裂变到重组：云南大学院系调整与西南边疆高教格局塑造

From Fission to Reorganization: Department Adjustments at Yunnan University and the Shaping of the Higher Education Landscape in the Southwest Border Region

20 世纪 50 年代初，云南大学配合国家战略部署进行院系调整增。将攸关国防建设、工业发展以及国计民生的优势学科调到四川、重庆及贵州等地区，将能够发挥云南矿产、医药、农林等优势的学科独立发展。以整体调出或部分参与合组的裂变，以及独立发展的重组，促进西南地区及云南省高校结构的优化、层次的提升、专门人才培养规模的迅速发展。云南大学在推动塑造西南边疆以及云南省高教新格局形成的同时，不可避免的在特定历史时期走向单一发展和人文教育衰落。

In the early 1950s, Yunnan University undertook departmental adjustments and expansions in alignment with national strategic directives. This involved relocating disciplines related to national defense, industrial development, and the national economy to regions such as Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guizhou, allowing for the independent development of disciplines that capitalized on Yunnan’s strengths in minerals, medicine, agriculture, and forestry. These efforts aimed to optimize the structure and capabilities of universities in the southwestern region and Yunnan Province while facilitating the rapid growth of specialized talent cultivation. This was achieved through comprehensive transfers, partial involvement in group fission, and the reorganization for independent development. As Yunnan University contributed to the emergence of a new higher education landscape in the southwestern frontier and Yunnan Province, it encountered phases of single-track development and a decline in humanities education during specific historical periods.
