손해보험의 연구 동향과 미래지향점에 관하여

Research Trend and Future Perspective of Korea Non-life Insurance

본 연구는 리스크관리연구 학술지에 과거 30년간 게재된 총 81편의 논문을 대상으로 연구 주제의 동향과 미래지향점에 대한 재조명을 목적으로 하였다. 손해보험에 관한 연구는 총 406편의 논문 중 약 20%를 차지하고 있으며 연구의 주제도 손해보험의 다양성을 고스란히 반영하고 있다 이러한 점을 고려하여 81편의 논문을 크게 보험종목별 시대별로 구분하였으며, 논의의 편의를 위해 크게 자동차보험, 특종보험, 해상/보증/예금/제3보험, 대재해/재보험으로 구분하였다. 각 보험종목별로 연구동향의 특징과 당면한 문제의 해결방안 접근 방법을 엿볼 수 있었으며 현재 시점에 고민하고 있는 문제들이 과거에도 꾸준히 검토되어 왔음을 발견할 수 있었다. 맺음말에서는 세계화와 더불어 급변하는 환경에 적응하고 생존하기 위해서 앞으로 어떠한 학문적 노력이 동반되어야하는지 보험종목별로 제안하였다. 이번 연구를 통해 비판적 고찰과 미래지향적 의견의 개진은 리스크관리연구 학술지의 고유성으로서 그 가치가 훼손되지 않도록 유지해야함을 재확인하였다.

This paper reviews non-life insurance research articles published in the journal of risk management over the past 30 years to reexamine research trends and future perspectives. The 81 researches on non-life insurance accounted for about 20% of the total 406 papers, and the theme of the study also reflects the diversity of non-life insurance. Considering this, 81 papers are divided by insurance category and period. For this purpose, it is divided into auto insurance, special insurance, marine/guarantee/deposit/third insurance, and catastrophe/reinsurance. The characteristics of the research trends and the approaches to solving the problems were found for each insurance category, and we discovered that the problems that are being considered at the present time have been steadily reviewed in the past as well. In conclusion, we suggest what academic efforts should be accompanied to adapt and survive in the rapidly changing environment with globalization. Critical review and forward-looking opinion reaffirmed the uniqueness of the journal of risk management research to maintain its value intact.
