본 연구에서는 손해보험 모집인 생산성의 결정요인을 개인차원에서 탐색적으로 고찰했다. 구체적으로는 관련 실무자들과의 그룹면담과 선행연구에 기초하여 손해보험 모집인 생산성에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 추정한 후 추정된 요인들을 실증적으로 분석했다. 단변량분석(univariate analysis) 결과에 의하면 도덕성요인, 태도요인, 지적능력요인, 행동요인, 직장만족요인, 근속기간 및 배우자의 태도가 모집인 생산성에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)에서는 근속기간, 고객관리요인 및 직장만족요인의 순서로 모집인 생산성에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미친다는 분석결과를 얻었다.
Although the solicitors in the Korean non-life insurance industry have carried out a positive role, several serious problems(too high turnover of solicitors, low productivity of solicitors, huge expense loss, and encroachment of equity) have been accompanied. The core of the problems is the productivity of solicitors. We studied the determinants of solicitor`s productivity in the Korean non-life insurance industry at the individual level. We selected the candidate factors based upon the literature review and the group interview with persons in the industry, and empirically analyzed the factors. According to the univariate analysis, morality, attitude, intelligent ability, behavior, job-satisfaction, tenure, and the attitude of husband or wife are statistically significant. The multiple regression analysis shows that tenure, consumer management, and job-satisfaction are statistically significant.
