이 연구는 Lee와 Lemyre(2009)의 연구모형을 활용하여 국민의 테러위험인식이 테러대응행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 대테러정책의 국민참여의 중요성이 이미 선진국에서 인식되고 정책적인 연구가 시행되고 있는 만큼 우리나라 역시 국민이 위험발생 시 테러위험인식이 테러대응행동에 미치는 영향을 검증이 필요하다. 이러한 탐구를 통해 국민의 행동이 예측 가능하며, 예측된 행동은 미리 통제가 가능하기 때문에 위험발생 시 국민이 혼란을 회피하고 효율적인 대응행동을 유도하는 정책방안을 제시한다. 궁극적으로 향후 국민에게 위해를 가하는 테러위험에 대한 국민의 반응을 이해하고 관리하여 다각적인 대테러정책을 설계하기 위한 기반을 마련하고자 한다.
This study attempted to verify the impact of the public's perception of terrorist risk on terrorist response behavior using the research model of Lee and Lemyre (2009).As the importance of civic participation in counterterrorism policies is already recognized in developed countries and policy research is being conducted, Korea also needs to verify the impact of terrorism risk awareness on terrorist response actions in the event of a risk.Because people's behavior is predictable through this inquiry and predicted behavior can be controlled in advance, policy measures are proposed to avoid confusion and induce efficient response behavior in the event of a risk. Ultimately, it aims to understand and manage the public's response to terrorist risks that harm the people in the future and lay the foundation for designing effective social measures.
