본 연구는 수학교육의 최근 연구 동향을 살펴보고자 2017년 국제 학술대회에서 발표된 연구의 제목을 언어 네트워크 분석법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 1,201편의 논문 제목에 언급된 단어의 빈도와 단어와 단어를 연결하는 의미 분석을 함께 살펴보았다. 2017년 수학교육의 연구 동향은 “전문성 개발을 위해 (교사는) 문장제 문제, 문제 해결, 문제 만들기를 적용한 학습을 권장하고 (학생들이) 기초 학습과 개념 이해를 수립할 수 있도록 형성 평가를 수행하는 교수·학습이 이루어지도록 한다.”로 말할 수 있으며, 국제 학술대회 연구 동향에 비추어 국내 연구가 미비한 주제를 탐색한 결과 ‘productive struggle(생산적인 고투)’, ‘number sense(수 감각)’, ‘social justice(사회 정의)’, ‘formative assessment(형성 평가)’가 파악되었다.
In order to examine the recent international research trends in mathematics education, the titles announced at the 2017 international conference of mathematics education were analyzed using the Language Network Analysis Method. We examined the frequency of the words mentioned in 1,201 titles and the meaning of node linking word to word. The trend of 2017 math education research can be described as “For the professional development, teacher encourages learning using words problem, problem solving and problem posing, and makes teaching and learning with formative assessment so that students can build basic learning and conceptual understanding.” As a result of exploring recent topics that be sparsely reseacrched in Korea, there have been ‘productive struggle’, ‘number sense’, ‘social justice’, and ‘formative assessment’.
