The main purpose of this paper is to expand Dewey’s democracy to eco-democracy. Eco-democracy mixed with ecology connects ecological transformation education and a new coexistence paradigm for the sustainability of humans and nature. Therefore this paper describes the advent of Anthropocene by rational humans, and suggests the necessity of ecological transformation education on the problems of Anthropocene and climate crisis.
