These days, the joint venture between the two countries in the cultural realm of China and South Korea is deepening. Major films produced in the form of “One Source Multi- Territory” attracted the attention of the audience. But with the release of Lobster Cop and Extreme Job, there have been polarized reviews and huge box office disparities. Taking these two films as examples, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the application of local elements from the perspectives of plot and characters. It comes to the conclusion that local labels should be implemented and element values should be explored. In order to produce a better Chinese film and summarize the use of local elements.
