This paper has a aim at comparison of ways of thinking between Korean and Chinese through analysing especially deictic words in two languages. Deictic words are appropriate materials for comparison of way of thinking, because they are extremely context-sensitive and reflect well human life. They were divided into 3 categories in this study, which are personal deixis, time deixis and place deixis. After this study we can say that there are more consideration for hearer in Korean than in Chinese. That characteristic is a important evidence to understand Korean and Korean's way of life.
