In the translation process, there are ideological confrontations and conflicts between the two countries, and these tensions can affect not only the translator's word selection but also the structure of sentences and contexts. In particular, when news discourse that conflicts with Korea's political ideology is translated, a sharp problem may arise. In American media articles, the United States appears as a position of hegemonic power. However, the translation does not introduce the original colonial discourse based on American hegemony directly, but resists the colonial discourse and rewrites it beyond the dichotomous boundary. This study explores the dominant ideology and colonial discourse inherent in the source text(news article) through micro-analysis from a post-colonial perspective, and examines the aspect of translation that has been reinterpreted by resisting the distorted reality that has been dismantled and overturned in Korean translation. I would like to analyze it from a critical point of view.
