발달장애인훈련센터 담당 특수교사의 업무 경험과 의미

The Experiences and Meaning of Interagency Collaboration of Special Teachers in Training Centers for People with Developmental Disabilities

이 연구의 목적은 발달장애인훈련센터 담당 특수교사의 업무 경험과 그 의미를 살펴보는 데 있다. 연구참여자는 발달장애인훈련센터 담당 특수교사 6명으로 개별 면담을 실시하였다. 면담 후 면담자료를 전사하고 포괄적 분석절차에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과, 상위범주 3개와 6개의 하위범주, 17개의 의미단위가 도출되었다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다; 첫째, 발달장애인훈련센터에서의 기관 간 협력에 실무자들의 역할이 중요하며 이들에 대한 행·재정적 배려가 필요하다. 둘째, 서비스 제공기관의 성과보다 서비스 대상자가 우선인 프로그램을 운영해야 한다. 셋째, 발달장애인훈련센터는 발달장애 학생의 직업재활에 의미가 있는 곳이며 이를 위해 체계적인 기반을 토대로 한 기관 간 협력이 이루어져야 한다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 발달장애인훈련센터와 교육청의 기관 간 협력이 발달장애학생의 진로·직업교육에서 가지는 의미와 기관 간 연계의 중요성, 개선 방향에 대하여 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the experience of interagency collaboration of special teachers in training centers for people with developmental disabilities. For this reason, individual interviews were conducted with six secondary special teachers who had the interagency collaboration with practitioners of training centers for people with developmental disabilities. This was analyzed in accordance to numerous comprehensive analysis procedures. As a result of analyzing the individual interview data, three main themes, six subcategories, and 17 semantic units were derived. First, the role of both practitioners and special teachers of training centers for people with developmental disabilities is important in the interagency collaboration of special teachers of training centers for people with developmental disabilities; furthermore, it is noted that both administrative and financial consideration for them is necessary. Second, it is necessary to operate a program that prioritizes service recipients over the performance of service providers. Third, the training center for people with developmental disabilities was a meaningful place for the vocational rehabilitation of students with developmental disabilities; for this purpose, cooperation with interagency collaboration should be improved. Based on these results, the meaning of cooperation between the training center for people with developmental disabilities and the Office of Education on the career vocational education of students with developmental disabilities, the importance of interagency collaboration, and the direction of improvement were all discussed.
