‘단어 선물하기’ 활동을 통한 자기 성찰 글쓰기 교육 사례 연구

A case study of self-reflection writing education through ‘Giving a word as a gift’ activities

이 논문은 대학 글쓰기 교육 중 자기 성찰 에세이 쓰기 강의 모형을 설계하고,실제수업에 적용 시킨 사례 연구이다.이를 위한 방법으로 ‘단어 선물하기’의 활동의 방법및 수업 사례를 소개했다. ‘단어 선물하기’란,말 그대로 조원들이 서로에게 단어를 선물하는 활동이다.이는자신의 색깔을 찾아가는 과정이라 할 수 있다.내가 생각하는 나의 모습 외에 타인의눈에 비친 나의 모습을 생각해볼 수 있다.이 활동을 3단계까지 마치고 나면 학생들은각자 선물 받은 단어 5개가 최종적으로 생긴다.최종 선정된 5개의 단어를 가지고 한편의 ‘나’를 주제로 하는 에세이를 작성하는 것으로 마무리된다.작성한 글에 대한 발표와 첨삭을 진행함으로써 타인의 생각과 소통하는 기회도 갖는다. 그동안 학생들은 자신에 대해 진지한 성찰이나 탐색할 시간이 충분히 주어지지 않았다.대학에 입학하여,사회로 나아가는 과정 속에서 우선시되어야 하는 것이 나 자신을 세우는 일이다.스스로 자신이 어떠한 사람인지를 분명히 알아야,나로 출발하여,나를 바로 세우고,타자와 소통하고,세계와 소통할 수 있을 것이다.

This paper is a case study of designing a self-introspective writing lecture model during university writing education and which was applied actual classes. As a way to do this, the method of ‘Giving a word as a gift’ and class cases were introduced. ‘Giving a word as a gift’ is an activity in which team members present words to each other. This can be said to be the process of finding one’s own color — that is to say, in addition to what I think of myself, I can think of my reflection in the eyes of others. After completing the activity up to the third stage, students will receive, as a gift, five words each. The process ends by writing an essay on the theme of “I” with the five words finally selected. This also presents an opportunity to communicate with others’ thoughts and the attachment of others. In the meantime, students have not been given enough time to seriously introspect or explore themselves. It is in the process of establish myself that I should be prioritized in the process of entering university and moving into society. In this regard, you need to know clearly what you are so that you can start with “me,” set me right, communicate with others, and communicate with the world.
