Objective: The purpose of this study is to find out the differences in self-exposure, commit- ment and social support according to long-distance love types, focusing on long-distance Chinese couples living in Korea and China. Methods: An online survey was conducted on 301 unmarried and married men and women in their 20s and 30s living in South Korea and China who have long-distance relationships. Results: Self-disclosure and commitment were significantly lower when individuals with long-distance love and their partners were an only child. In addition, individuals with unstable-intimate type and stable-unintimate type had sig- nificantly less self-exposure and higher social support from others than stable-intimate relationships. Conclusions: In the future, in Korea and China, where long-distance love in- creases, research on the types of long-distance love and the dynamics and variables of stable and intimate long-distance love needs to be active.
