The purpose of this study is to organize the ecological perspectives in the language education, and to seek for a way to apply it to Korean education. To accomplish this aims, aspects of academic developments of the ecology are arranged. The core concept of the ecological perspectives is the “relationship”. And then, researches oriented to the ecological perspectives in Korean language education are checked by categories the aims, the contents, and the implementations. On a basis of these researches, study discourses of the ecological perspectives in Korean education are suggested. Those are “the sustainable communicative competence of Korean learners”, “the relationships among the implementation elements in Korean education”, “ecolinguistics and the critical discourse studies” for the “ecological Korean education”.
