디지털 리터러시 역량 강화를 위한 한국어 수업 구성 연구

A Study on the Composition of Korean Language Courses to Strengthen Digital Literacy Capability

This study proposed how Korean language courses should be composed to strengthen digital literacy. Changes in the digital environment have enabled ready access to information from the Internet rather than from books, leading to changes in reading methods. However, foreign students’ lack of understanding of the new reading methods in a digital environment will create difficulties in both their daily activities and academic life at school. Therefore, digital literacy education is necessary to help them adapt to the study and life at universities and communicate well with others. However, studies on digital literacy in Korean language education are limited. Hence, the theoretical background section of this study reviewed the literature on the concept of digital literacy, related to digital literacy in foreign language education, and on online text reading and comprehension. Accordingly, this study developed the phases and elements in the composition of Korean language courses to enhance digital literacy and proposed strategies to improve the teaching/courses.
